Move in day!!!!

Decided that it was time to get the ball rolling yesterday, and actually get things moved into the new trailer....since the panelling is in place, next logical step was to get some creature comforts in it!! First up, the 8" memory foam bed and tulip poplar bed frame...
Note the handy under the bed storage!! Frees up more floor space....and floor space is at a premium! Even found a little corner that will hold all 4 corner stabilizers...
And, since I'm not a total barbarian, a nice little 32" flatscreen TV with DVD player built in...
Clothes take up a lot of room, and in a trailer that is no exception! Found these neat little hangers with multiple hooks at Amazon.com, they just screwed right in to the wall.....
With the new setup, actually have room to place a folding camp chair in the front if I decide to just set and read....which I often do since I like to read!
And before anyone asks, no...I do not just plop myself down on a bare bed....actually have sheets and a cool little spread that I picked up in Arizona last winter...
So there you have it!! The STEALTH trailer is basically ready to roll out on its first trial! Theres several things you don't see, i.e. the solar batteries/inverter tucked away under the bed.....the LP fired heater....the mini fridge/microwave/coffeemaker will go next to the TV...the 3 legged portable loo for #2 use when necessary....the 5 gallon solar shower....the charge controller/battery monitor for the solar.... When its time to break STEALTH mode and roll on, getting things ready takes less than 5 minutes!! Set the tv on the bed, set the coffeemaker inside the microwave and then set it on the floor, set the lamp on the bed with the tv, and away we go!! Nothing that can break is in a position to get broken! What do you guys think? Will this do the job? Can I be comfortable? Any suggestions to improve?

  3. I always thought of having everything kind of built into place, but you have the advantage of being able to rearrange anytime you want. It looks good. Have fun on your test run.

    1. I looked into building cabinets along a wall to hold things, BUT there is a major disadvantage to that----WEIGHT!! And weight affects gas mileage, and if you get to heavy, then you need a bigger truck to pull it all down the road, AND up the mountains!! No, lite weight is my best choice...and I can stick with my half ton truck!

  5. Wow John

You are now a master stealth cargo builder, I bet if you had a line going you could knock out one per day, with only a $500 mark up you could be knocking off $15 k per month and America would be a better place in no time. Just put a little sign on your trailer and the world will beat a path to your door !! I can see the orders already rolling in. Do you have a ballpark $$ on your current setup ?

  7. Looks good John! That one looks more comfortable than the first trailer.

Here's the enclosed trailer I just bought. 8 wide x 17 long x 9 tall. It's for busines but could be lived in. I can just see a nice loft sleeping area in the front with a computer desk underneath!
